How we work

From a working session to a plan you can act on.

The same four stages every time, so you always know what is happening and what comes next.

01

Diagnostic interview

We meet — usually online — and work through the business, the market and what has already been tried. Nothing is presented back as a recommendation at this stage; the output is a shared written record of what we heard.

  • What the business sells and to whom
  • Which competitors are actually in the frame
  • What has worked, what has not, and any constraints
  • What a good outcome would look like in your terms

02

Positioning statement

We take the diagnostic and turn it into a position: who you serve, what you claim, and the evidence or reasoning that makes the claim hold. We also show what we ruled out, so you can see the trade-offs.

  • A single written positioning statement
  • The audience it is written for
  • The alternatives considered and why they were set aside
  • How to keep it consistent as the business changes

03

Channel and message strategy

With the position agreed, we advise on marketing planning, channel selection, campaign direction and messaging. The aim is a short list of places to be present and a clear idea of what each one is for.

  • Which channels suit which audience
  • What each channel is for, and what it is not for
  • Message direction per audience, not a single slogan for everyone
  • Sequencing guidance for a launch or a repositioning

04

Practical delivery plan

Everything is handed over as working documents with the reasoning attached, so your team can act on it without us in the room.

  • The positioning statement and audience notes
  • Channel and message direction
  • A practical plan you can schedule
  • An offer to review the work with you after you start using it
